MSMS House of Delegates is coming up soon (April 24-26). Members of the medical community in Michigan will attend to represent you and your medical health and future in front of the legislative and policy-making body of the state Medical Society. Representing St. Clair County this year are:

A percentage of lobbying money to establish prescription programs.

Lead in synthetic turfs.

Banning alcohol vaporizers.

Payment for email consultations by Medicare.

Program to salvage unused medications for needy patients.

Publish perks of health care industry executives.

AMA to work towards establishing an anonymous, confidential national reporting center for medical mistakes.

AMA to sponsor ‘Advance directives for all’ campaign.
